Head Chef, 2-3 rosette level, South West, £50k

The Candidate Requirement:  This lovely boutique Hotel is looking for a Head Chef, with experience at 2-3 rosette/Michelin level, with a view to further developing the food offering – style should be ‘farm to fork’, ‘nose to tail’, locally sourced and prepared without too much fuss. 

The main emphasis will be on dinner service, but also encompassing breakfast, light lunches, afternoon tea and a small number of exclusive-use weddings.

To be suitably qualified for this role you will be Head Chef (or at the very least Senior Sous) in a 2 or 3 rosette property.

You should have strong leadership and communication skills and be very cuisine and service oriented. This is an extremely hands on role and demands skill in balancing time and effort, both with clients and staffing. You should have excellent man-management skills and good financial acumen – whilst being a strong kitchen manager to successfully take over the helm of this well-respected property.

This really is a fab position for a Head Chef keen to make their mark, backed-up by experienced owners – and with a longer term view of growing with the Company, potentially into more of a Group role.

Inside, there are comfortable lounge areas and a contemporary restaurant, where good local ingredients are prepared with skill and minimal fuss.
