Group Executive Chef, £45-50,000 North East
The Candidate Requirement: Can you manage overseeing more than one kitchen? We’re looking for an organised individual to oversee 6 restaurants/gastro pubs – all near to each other!
This is a great opportunity for to run your own little empire, within a developing Company, who know what they’re doing and are prepared to provide support and back up.
Your Head Chef level background should include rosette level operations as and you must be passionate about sourcing the best produce available – local wherever possible, whilst bearing cost controls in mind, you must also have the ability to develop menus and manage the brigades. Ideally your CV should demonstrate stability and some experience within quality gastro operations, ideally from the ‘trendy’ end of the market!
This is a very hands-on role, most definitely NOT a desk job! You will need to step-in to cover staffing gaps if they arise, and work with each team to develop menu ideas.
Not for the idle chef, this role will keep you on your toes but the rewards will be worth it!!
Our Client: A small Company who have a collection of individual properties, all committed to serving great quality, honest food - from simple grills, seafood and steaks to BBQ’s - fine dining to blackboard specials, all sourced as locally and as freshly as possible.
