Head Chef, 3 rosette level, Yorkshire, £50-60k

The Candidate Requirement:  We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef who can juggle multiple outlets within this top-end property!

The Hotel holds multiple accolades, and as such you must have a proven background at 3 rosette level in order to be suitably qualified for the role.

Whilst your personal level of cooking will make guests (and potential employers) keep on coming back for more, your main focus will be to oversee all outlets, looking at the operation from above to orchestrate all sections within the department – ensuring that guests receive good quality dishes at breakfast, lunch, afternoon and dinner.

Outlets include an intimate fine dine, busy bar/lounge area, large banqueting facility and bar/brasserie restaurant.

You should be capable of sourcing exceptional produce and keeping GP’s in line with budget, of inspiring and developing your large team to maintain consistently excellent standards across the board.

You will be a magician in terms of the administration of the department - achieving GP’s; complying with H&S requirements; stock controls; planning, design and costing of menus.

As Exec Chef, your background of experience will include high volume operations as well as those at a minimum of 4/5 star 3-rosette level, ideally within a Head Chef role.  You will have an excellent financial understanding and the ability to motivate and develop the brigade.

This role is for is a serious property with £multi-million food turnover so you will need to be a very strong all-rounder to take on this challenge and make it a success – the rewards, however, will be plentiful!
