Head Chef, Oxfordshire, £50k
The Successful Candidate: This is a great opportunity to run your own kitchen, within a well respected property. Your background should include experience as Head Chef in busy gastro operations ideally with 1-2 rosette background, you must be passionate about sourcing the best produce available, local wherever possible, whilst bearing cost controls in mind, you must also have the ability to develop menus and manage the brigade to deliver exceptional food in this fast paced environment ranging from a stunning fish and chips to beautiful local game.
Our Client: his busy, contemporary gastropub with rooms and is based in a small and affluent market town, changing seasonal menus will be offered, focussing on the use of local produce wherever possible, and naturally using all fresh ingredients. You will work with in a team of 6 to develop menus, present new ideas and help to achieve goals (and costs!) – great opportunity for an experienced chef who is keen to learn and develop their career and receive the backing of experienced operators.
