The Candidate Requirement:
This is a great opportunity for a Head Chef, who can demonstrate a solid fresh food background to a 1 rosette level (or maybe an exceptional Senior Sous Chef looking for your first Head Chef position), you should have a real passion for delivering delicious simple food done really well and because of location Fresh Fish plays a big part on this menu too!!! you should be able to bring originality to the team, along with having a passion for sourcing the great local produce and have the ability to create innovative menus that will appeal to the local market – without too much fuss, ‘style over substance’ will not do here, we’re looking for really good produce cooked really well!
Naturally, you will be a competent all-rounder, able to oversee all sections of the kitchen, as well as having solid kitchen management skills to keep all EHO, payroll and food GP’s on target.
