The Position:  Executive Sous Chef


The Successful Candidate:  

This fab property is looking for an Executive Sous Chef: someone who is passionate about working with the best local produce available with a passionate team.

To be suitably qualified for this role you will likely be in a Sous Chef role currently and must be able to demonstrate a 2 and 3-rosette level background, whilst also having a flair and originality to bring to the team. You must be a strong all-rounder, able to cover all sections and deputise for the Head Chef in his absence and have some knowledge of GP’s and hygiene legislation. The emphasis here is on quality over all outlets encompassing breakfast, lunch, Dinner, afternoon tea and lounge services and some events/banqueting – you must have the drive to motivate the team and assist the head chef in menu development ideas – whilst making a name for yourself within a superb operation.

This role is for is a serious property with £multi-million food turnover so you will need to be a very strong all-rounder to take on this challenge and make it a success – the rewards, however, will be plentiful!
