Job Title: Head Chef
The Successful Candidate:
Working alongside the Exec Chef, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of fast-paced quality Brasserie of this renowned property, serving up to 90 covers, for Brunch and dinner menus. You will have excellent preparation and presentation skills and be able to do your own food costs, budgets and controls.
You will need to be able to ensure the kitchen is appropriately staffed at all times and assist with rotas and the delegation of duties. You will be involved in the recruitment and selection of kitchen staff and to ensure their correct induction, ongoing training and development, and performance management.
You will have excellent communication skills, be a self-motivated individual with good timekeeping and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. You will have a strong sense of urgency and be disciplined as an individual and demand the same of your team.
You will have the autonomy to create specials with seasonal local ingredients and seasonal changing main menus.
