The Position: General Manager

The Successful Candidate: 

We’re looking for an exceptional and experienced General Manager, currently managing rosette-level operations to become the General Manager of this stunningly refurbished gastro property with 12 bedrooms.  You will report to the Director, managing the business to ensure guests expectations are exceeded at all times. You’ll have exceptional financial acumen and great food and beverage experience. You’ll also be a dazzling host, an outstanding people manager and have a dynamic, ambitious and passionate personality! Making locals and those travelling from further afield feel welcome and appreciated!!  The ability to train, develop and motivate staff; maximise revenue by upselling products; maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff and communicate effectively with all departments goes without saying!!

Our Client: 

This property a country gastro-pub with rooms has undergone a 3-year restoration and is finally ready to fly. A large amount of money has been lavished on the property so it will be a dream to work in! There are some potential team members already in place, and now we’re looking for the right person to help drive the business forward. You will be totally responsible for overseeing the whole operation including the Farm shop outside dining and private use hire

Salary £60k-70k
