The Successful Candidate: Assistant Manager

We’re looking for an exceptional and enthusiastic Assistant Manager currently working in a rosette-level restaurant, Hotel or Gastro Pub to become Assistant Manager and support General Manager in this superb gastro property. You will work alongside the GM  to run shifts; ensuring guests expectations are exceeded at all times; train, develop and motivate staff; maximise revenue by upselling products; maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff and communicate effectively with all departments - you will also be involved in the supervision of the small number of bedrooms – checking in guests, handling payments, ensuring rooms are maintained and cleaned to the highest standards, taking restaurant and bedroom reservations.

The ideal applicant will have excellent customer service skills in order to help deliver the superb levels of service that this property is famous for, have good wine knowledge, be immaculately presented, have some understanding of cost controls and Health and Safety - experience at  2 rosette level, and a passion for the industry are essential qualities.
